Desert Paradise 4x4 trail | A three-day adventure to Parker Arizona

Leave the pavement behind and take a 3-day journey to Parker, Arizona

The Desert Paradise trail will take you from Wickenburg to Parker Arizona. Along the way, you have the opportunity to see some amazing places. Stop and visit Box Canyon near Wickenburg any time of the year and take a swim in the fresh mountain spring water. Continuing on you will see many remains of the pioneer days including Octave Cemetery, Palmerita Ranch, Swansea and several other points of interest.

The trail is 99% dirt with only 3.5 miles of pavement. About half of the trail is easy maintained county roads. Once you cross Alamo Lake you are in an extremely isolated area. From this point, the trail gets a little rough until Pipeline Crossing. After Pipeline Crossing it turns back to a nice smooth trail. Don't forget to stop and see the Cactus Plain sand dunes. Bring your fishing pole because Alamo Lake is a great fishing hole!

Please Note

This trail meets four major rivers. Hassayampa River, Big Sandy River, Bill Williams River, and Santa Maria River. If the rivers are flowing or a thunderstorm appears you may get stranded. Always have a backup plan.
